Headlight Restoration Service

Foggy or Faded Headlights?

Cloudy, yellowed headlights don’t just look bad—they reduce visibility and make nighttime driving less safe. Our professional headlight restoration service removes oxidation and restores clarity, bringing your headlights back to a like-new condition.

Using a multi-step sanding, polishing, and refinement process, we eliminate built-up haze and surface damage that basic cleaning can’t fix. Once restored, we apply a protective coating to help prevent future fading and keep your headlights clearer for longer.

The result is improved light output, better visibility, and a cleaner overall look for your vehicle—all without the cost of replacing the headlights.

The Ultimate Headlight Restoration Process:

1

Start sanding headlight with 800 grit

The first round of sanding is where the oxidization is removed. You'll see a lot of slurry come off.

2

Sand headlight with 1,000 grit

As we move up the process we remove less oxidization.

3

Sand with 1,500 grit

You can start to see a noticeable difference in the clarity of the headlights.

4

Sand with 2,500 grit

5

Sand with 3,000 grit

The final sanding step, the headlight is looking much clearer.

6

Compound the headlight

Using a cutting disc, compound, and machine polisher, we'll remove the sanding marks.

7

Polish the headlight

Finally, we'll refine the cutting step to bring out maximum clarity with a light polish and polishing pad.

8

Protect the headlight

For protection, we'll apply a 1-year ceramic coating. This will provide durable protection.

Headlight Restoration Fact FAQs

How long does this service take?

It depends on the size and condition, but it typically takes 45 to 90 minutes to complete. If the condition is severe, it’ll take longer.

Can you restore any headlights?

Like many things, once the headlights get to a certain point, there is only so much we can do to restore them to a like-new condition. Your headlights can look better after we’re done, but there can also be permanent damage.

How do I keep my headlights looking good?

It can be a bit tricky. Typical waxes and sealants will only protect your car for so long. If you park your car in the shade most of the time, then they’ll simply last longer than if you park outside in the sun most of the time.

You can apply a sealant or wax to your headlights every 3 to 5 weeks. This can take less than 15 minutes to do.
